Greetings Coalition Family!

Drug Dealers

The u.s. has frozen more than a half-billion dollars of Afghan/Taliban
monies. The consensus is that once the country has been .purged of
terrorists., the monies will be used to rebuild the economy of that
country.

From what I can understand, Afghanistan’s national export is the poppy
crop.

Now to put this in perspective... The government has seized properties
from an international drug dealer and intends to return it once the
criminals have been removed.

I am absolutely against the drug business (both legal and illegal), but if
this is the precedent the government is setting, then all the properties
that have been seized in inner city drug raids should be returned to those
neighborhoods once the perpetrators have been removed...hmmm

FOR OUR CHILDREN

“It is easier to build children than it is to repair men.”…Frederick Douglass

CAP4KIDS

One of the greatest predictors of developmental success for children
who are developmentally delayed, is Early Intervention, i.e., the earlier
the delay is identified, and the earlier a child is referred to Childlink
(under 3 years old) or Elwyn (over 3), the better their long term success.

On the www.cap4kids.org/philadelphia website, under Early
Intervention
(http://www.cap4kids.org/philadelphia/parent_handouts/early_intervention_development.html) , you will find links to these organizations,
provider referrals (with BOTH of Childlink's fax numbers on them), and
important numbers to contact these organizations.

The Philadelphia Chapter of NCOBRA

will host the

2012 conference of the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations
in America (NCOBRA).
June 22-24, 2012
Church of the Advocate
1801 Paul Washington Ave. (W. Diamond St.)
Philadelphia, PA
Why reparations?
There are those who ask "Why Reparations? Slavery ended in 1865?"
After the passage of the 13Th and 14Th amendments, laws were passed
to re-enslave people of African descent through Jim Crow laws. The
New Jim Crow is a result of the low-intensity war against the Black
community under the guise of a "War on Drugs," in addition to ongoing
discrimination, and an extension of the slavery experience for Black
people.
What can we do: We can begin to work together to define the strategy,
plan the approach and implement the solution. One way to do this is to
come to Philadelphia in June for the 2012 NCOBRA Conference. Other
ways include joining with other groups working on the reparations issue.
Organizations from the Nation of Islam to the NAACP have endorsed
reparations. Now let's do more than talk the talk, let's walk the walk. We
must decide what must be done to reclaim, reconstruct and restore our
people to their former greatness. See you in Philadelphia. Share with

For centuries Rosicrucians have stood for peace.

Our motto is:

The greatest tolerance within the strictest independence.

Today, in these challenging times, we ask that you join us in the work of

creating peace.

Often people ask us what they can do in times like these. We can apply
the Rosicrucian principles developed centuries ago. Members, known
and unknown, continue to work towards peace, health and happiness for
all beings and our planet.

You can participate in this work by directing your thoughts, words and
actions towards peace in our world.

For example:

1. Dedicate some time each day to visualizing peace. Attune with the
Council of Solace every day at noon (local time) sending thoughts of
peace, harmony and health to all who request it.

2. Make peace with people in your life--at home, at school, at work.
Make a commitment to make peace with someone this month.

3. Participate in your community in ways that model the ideal of peace.

4. Respond peacefully in the next stressful situation in your life.

The Rosicrucian Order has been active in the greater Philadelphia
Region for over 318 years; since 1694 when a group of Rosicrucians
from Europe first arrived on the banks of the Wissahickon River. Since
then we have been working in quiet to create a better world and a better
understanding of Self Mastership. Come learn about the Rosicrucian
Order and our teachings and participate in this exercise on World Peace.
Our Open Meeting Topics vary and include: auras, color therapy,
meditation, absent healing, visualization, positive thought, and self
mastery.

May this be the year in which Peace Profound manifests upon our
planet.

For additional information about our local programs, please visit us at
www.rosicrucian.org or call us at (215) 332-4160.

HEALTH MATTERS

CLOROX vs PEROXIDE

Clorox vs Peroxide VERY interesting

and inexpensive. This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a

doctor's wife), and I want to share it with you. She was over

recently for coffee and smelled the bleach I was using to clean my

toilet and counter tops. This is what she told me. 'I would like to

tell you of the benefits of that plain little ole bottle of 3%

peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. What does

bleach cost?

My husband has been in the medical

field for over 36 years, And most doctors don't tell you about

peroxide. Have you ever smelled bleach in a doctor's office? NO!!!

Why? because it smells, and it is not

healthy! Ask the nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask

them if they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!

Did you also know bleach was invented

in the late 40's? It's chlorine, folks! And it was used to kill our

troops.

Peroxide was invented during WWI in the 20's. It was used to save and

help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals.

Please think about this:

1 Take one capful (the little white

cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes

daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe.) No more canker

sores, and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use

it instead of mouthwash.

2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup

of peroxide to keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters and table tops

with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a

little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. After rinsing off your wooden

cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

5. I had fungus on my feet for years

until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them

(especially the

toes) every night and let dry.

6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3%

peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. My husband has

seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by

soaking in peroxide.

7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50

mixture of peroxide and Water and keep it in every bathroom to

disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most

other disinfectants will.

8. Tilt your head back and spray into

nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus.

It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes,

and then blow your nose into a tissue.

9. If you have a terrible toothache

and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide

into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The

pain will lessen greatly.

10. And of course, if you like a

natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair

after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the

peroxide-burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages but more

natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty

blonde. It also lightens gradually, so it's not a drastic change.

11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in

your bath to help get rid of boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

12.. You can also add a cup of

peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to

whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the

soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold

water. Repeat if necessary.

13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors.

There is no smearing, which is why I love it so much for this.

14. Another place it's great is in the

bathroom, if someone has been careless & has wet on the floor around

the toilet & it's begun to smell of urine. Just put some peroxide in

a spray bottle & spray. In the blink of any eye all the smell will be

gone & the bacteria eliminated!

I could go on and on. It is a little

brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most

necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to save tons of money in

such a simple, healthy manner! This information really woke me up.

I hope you gain something from it, too.

GREEN PIECE

Get Fresh!

Volunteer with Philabundance Fresh for All

You recycle out the wazoo and consider yourself

consigliore of the enviro-sack mafia.

Hence, a cause you can believe in: Philabundance wants to fill those
ubiquitous bags with produce through its new Fresh for All programs.

And you can help by volunteering.

The nonprofit hands out perishables at six sites in the

Delaware Valley — where nutritious diet staples are hard to come by,
especially in tough times.

With a minimum three-hour commitment, you’ll keep busy. Help with
admin, approve clients, or do community outreach

(posting mailings, making phone calls).

Looking for something physical?

Take food to sites, divide apples, and dole out the goods. You’ll be doing
a major part to help people get the fruits and veggies they need.

And that’s a green movement to be proud of.

To participate in Fresh for All, contact

Hereeeeeeeeeeeeees...
Kathy’s Korner!

A pilot, LeBron James, Bill
Gates, the Pope, and a pizza
delivery man were all in a
plane together traveling
through stormy conditions.

Suddenly, the pilot came
running back to the
passengers and announced
that lightning had hit the
plane, and they were going
to crash in a matter of
minutes. “There are only
enough parachutes for four
of the five of us,” he
announced. “Since I’m the
pilot, I get one!” After
saying this, the pilot grabbed
a parachute and jumped out
of the plane.

“I’m the world’s greatest
athlete,” proclaimed LeBron
James. “This world needs
great athletes, so I must
live.” LeBron James then
grabbed a parachute and
leaped out of the plane.

“I’m the smartest man in
the world,” bragged Bill
Gates. “The world needs
smart men, so I must also
live!” Bill Gates grabbed a
parachute and jumped out
of the plane.

At this point, the Pope
began to speak. “I have
lived a long life compared to
you, and you may take the
last parachute. I will go
down with the plane.”

Pizza delivery man says
“You don’t have to stay in
the plane! The world’s
smartest man jumped out of
the plane with my
backpack.”

SpotLight On Our Efforts

On June 1, 2012, the originator/Founder of the historic Million Woman
March, Sis. Empress Phile' Chionesu, returned from a fact finding,
exploratory, and Movement building expedition that successfully
resulted in an exciting and powerful collaboration with the Republic of

This historic visit, which officiated the launching of several major and
long awaited "next step" operations of the Universal MW Movement,
specifically the MWM "Africa Ancestral, Freedom, & Self-
Determination Journey" 2012 Project, also served as the first of several
"Repentance, Solidarity, and Reconciliation " dialogs and initiatives that
has been uniquely designed to begin an incredible process to pro-
actively connect, during 2012-2013, Africans born in North America
with African countries located in the Western Region; thus furthering
and stabilizing meaningful relationships and productivity for all
concerned.

(NOTE: 2013-14 will begin designated initiatives for the Eastern

throughout the African Diaspora a greater view and manifestation of the
true MWM vision and holistic strategy can be administered and
witnessed.

Never before has there been a extensively serious and diverse major
project structured and presented, internationally, that specifically
addresses the issues, concerns, and interest of women and girls of
African descent worldwide. The Million Woman March being the
largest gathering in the world of women anywhere ever was not only
designed (and demonstrated its capabilities) to do things such as this, but
much much more. In 1997, MWM set the tone with its "out of the box"
unconventional and groundbreaking "NU Grassroots Tactical and
Organizing Systems" (TM)

This year's visits to Benin, (and the upcoming trips to Ghana, Togo, and
possibly Nigeria), will not only further establish the present and
protracted mission and platform that was envisioned at the time of
MWM's original conception and, of course, the new revelations and
subsequent developments that have occurred during the past 15 years,
but the upcoming visits will, assure, undoubtedly, a dramatic shift in the
present stagnating and destructive paradigms hindering real global
African advancement, sustainability, and Unity.

With the Republic of Benin's hosting of the National MWM US
delegation that included, of course, MWM Founder and President
General Empress Chi, along with MWM Special Projects Coordinator
for Arts and Culture Development, Sis. Wanda Dickerson (Co-Founder
of the Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble), and Roger and
Rudy Frances, (of the IGI Circus International Entertainment and
Promotions) members of the MWM Special Projects International
Logistics Team, a genuine "evolutionary relationship" has been set in
motion and as such will provide a variety of "from the grassroots
through the glass ceiling" incentives and opportunities while
demonstrating the creativity, beauty and greatness of the Mother of
Civilization. (Africa)

Press Conferences to provide a more in depth report on the visit to
Benin/Dahomey, other upcoming MWM programs and Special Projects,
and to assist in the establishment of National MWM Coordinating
Teams and MWM Chapters will be held in Philly, PA and Camden,
New Jersey on June 19, 2012 . Additional briefings and "Information
Sessions" will be held in Trenton, Burlington, and Newark, New Jersey
in addition to DC, NY, and DE during the month on June and July 2012

ARTS FOR AWARENESS

I see little of more importance to the future of our country and of civilization than full recognition of
the place of the artist. If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to
follow his vision wherever it takes him. Pauline Kael

COMPUTERS AND TECHNOLOGY

Free online journal focuses on technology for nonprofits
Technology can help nonprofits create the change they want to see in

the world. But even with daily evidence of world-changing innovations

and applications of technology, it's difficult for nonprofit leaders to

know how to apply it to their missions.
NTEN:Change, a free online journal from the

Nonprofit Technology Network,

provides the guidance and practical considerations nonprofits need to

make the sound investments and decisions that will help them meet

their goals.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Are these manufacturer coupons or coupons that I print on my
computer?

A: All of our coupons are actual manufacturer coupons. Fewer and fewer
retailers accept coupons that are printed from your computer because of a
huge increase in counterfeit coupons. Actual manufacturer coupons
which we issue are accepted everywhere that coupons are accepted.

Q: Can these coupons be doubled?
A: Yes. These are manufacturer issued coupons and may be doubled in

any store that offers double coupons.

Q: What are the face values and the expiration dates of these coupons?
A: Being manufacturer coupons, the manufacturer determines the face
values of the coupons. We currently stock coupons ranging in value from
40 cents to 5.00 dollars. The coupon expiration dates are generally valid
for 90 days.

Q: How can I use $1,000.00 worth of coupons in 90 days?
A: With our program, you get to choose the coupons you want, when you
want them. This way you never have to worry about the coupons
expiring.

Q: How do I choose the coupons I want?
A: Each coupon book contains coupon request slips which you fill out
and send in. Those coupons are then mailed to you.
