URGENT RECALLS NEEDED !
When there are unreasonable risks of injury or death from many types of consumer products, in the United States of America, the government alerts the public with recall notices including Consumer Product Recall Information & Several agencies with vastly different jurisdictions have joined together to provide Recalls and Product Safety News.
News reports often contain notices alerting the public of contaminated, defective, hazardous or otherwise unsafe
meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, beverages, furniture, appliances, motor vehicles, clothing, children's items, tools and other products.
Government agencies, the producers or both warn people not to use the items and usually instruct them to either destroy them or to return them to their source of origin for replacemnt, repair or refund of purchase price.
Product safety recalls occur in various forms in many if not most nations around the planet.
When the founders of the United States took full responsibility, authority and power for the governance of their nation with the famous three words "We the People" a historic milestone was erected.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Amendment 1 of the United States Constitution
|
The first ten Amendments of the United States Constitution (commonly known as the "Bill of Rights") place severe restrictions on the powers of government to interfere in the areas of conscience, expression and personal freedom.
This was in response to an understanding of World history about the abuses and atrocities that a despotic regime can impose on the people under its rule. Simply read the "Declaration of Independence" for a few reminders.
Modern history and recent events confirm and validate the wisdom and vision of the American founders. This is in spite of shortcomings that they shared with all other human beings (except for ONE) in the chronicle of this planet.
In the United States this places the responsibility for handling, and when necessary recalling and properly disposing of, products that adversely impact the mind and spirit firmly on the shoulders of "We the People" - and presents to us an awesome contemporary challenge.

We should NOT be hesitant to Listen to the PRESIDENT!
Intelligent People Get the Facts.

"As Americans, we believe we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, rights that no man or government can take away. We insist on personal responsibility, and we celebrate individual initiative. We're not entitled to success. We have to earn it. We honor the strivers, the dreamers, the risk- takers, the entrepreneurs who have always been the driving force behind our free enterprise system, the greatest engine of growth and prosperity that the world's ever known."
. . .
"But we also believe in something called citizenship — citizenship, a word at the very heart of our founding, a word at the very essence of our democracy, the idea that this country only works when we accept certain obligations to one another and to future generations."
. . .
" 'We, the people' — recognize that we have responsibilities as well as rights; that our destinies are bound together; that a freedom which asks only, what's in it for me, a freedom without a commitment to others, a freedom without love or charity or duty or patriotism, is unworthy of our founding ideals, and those who died in their defense."
. . .
"As citizens, we understand that America is not about what can be done for us. It's about what can be done by us, together — through the hard and frustrating but necessary work of self-government. That's what we believe."

A LOOK AT OUR TIMES
Copyright © 2004
by Stan Daniels, Editor, Urban Cartographer Online www.eightcitiesmap.com - all rights reserved.
The Human Rights activists and freedom fighters of the recent past (most of whom were young at the time), took a stand to liberate their own communities.
They asked hard questions and demanded intelligent answers.
Today a plague of violence afflicts many communities with perpetrators whose acts would make them excellent poster children for the Ku Klux Klan and skinheads.
The damages and toll of deaths and injuries inflicted on the populations of many nations by
the words and actions of irresponsible public figures (masquerading as celebrities, entertainers and athletes) is on a
scale matching that of such natural disasters as earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and volcanoes. A disproportionate share of
pain and suffering is hurled upon the very young and the aged - those least able to handle it.
"Thugocracy," "narcoticracy" and "morontocracy" are being foisted upon the
public by some contemporary (or should it be contemptible) "entertainers."
(Apparently there are some people who have a vested interest in the perpetration and perpetuation of self-destructive
attitudes and behavior in certain communities.)
Unfortunately far too many descendants of the people who first established education and civilization now reject and despise
their own heritage.
(This is in spite of overwhelming documentation from genealogy, anthropology, DNA research, history and the records of the
sacred scriptures of the three Abrahamic monotheistic religions in the Judeo-Christian-Islamic community.)
The Editor recently received an urgent plea for help from an educator in Africa seeking "materials,
methodologies and [other] information to change the learning culture and environment" in a nation that once was
famous for its educational excellence. Today, its educators are challenged by students who express the attitude "my
parents didn't have it so I don't need it," and cry out for help to solve a "problem [that] is bigger than a simple
lack of education." (Does anything sound familiar?)
People want constructive solutions and answers to the problems plaguing society today.
This has been shown conclusively by the response to our survey of readers of the transcript of the speech that
Dr. Bill Cosby gave on May 17, 2004 in Washington, DC.

As world events unfold before our very eyes, it would do us all well to consider the consequences of our words and actions and govern our lives accordingly.
The "people of the Book" who worship the God of Abraham in the Judeo-Christian-Islamic community should always remember our accountability and responsibilities to a "Higher Authority" - the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe.

(Please read Psalm 4:4, Ephesians 4:26 - 27 and 2 Chronicles 7:14.)
The United States of America has now become the home of the "Grateful Dead" and far too many ungrateful living.
Arrogantly excluding hundreds of millions of fellow inhabitants of the hemisphere, in greedy pursuit of material gain with depraved indifference to human life, misguided persons hypocritically defile the name "America" around the planet.
We now see a land of sagging breeches, collapsing bridges and media manipulated people who are as clueless as a barefoot man is shoeless.
In a state of extreme spiritual depravity, many cannot (or will not) "connect the dots" and see the relationship between the "money trail" and the "bunny's tail."
Decades before the present media and entertainment fueled "ball of confusion," there were clear warnings of
impending danger from many people.
Among them Malcolm X issued many clear wake up calls and Martin Luther
King, Jr repeatedly challenged people to think. Both urged constructive action.
The renowned call-out from Malcolm X rings just as true today as when he first proclaimed it: "You've been hoodwinked.
You've been had. You've been took. You've been led astray . . . You've been bamboozled!"
This was long before the "Ghetto Dogs" (howling, scowling, growling and prowling), and other walking and talking weapons of mass destruction and suicidal havoc were unleashed on many unsuspecting communities and families.
Ossie Davis, the world famous and respected actor and his wife and acting partner, Ruby Dee, helped to open doors and widen
horizons for Black people on stage and screen.
They fought zealously for Human Rights from Washington to Hollywood. Ossie Davis gave the
Eulogy for Malcolm X.
When the couple was honored at the Kennedy Center in December, 2004, Ossie Davis stated:
"We knew that every time we got a job and every time we were onstage, America was looking to make judgments about all
black folks on the basis of how you looked, how you sounded, how you carried yourself. So any role you had was a role that
was involved in the struggle for black identification. You couldn't escape it."
Artists and entertainers have had a major impact on societies throughout history.
Whether the influence was positive or negative depended on the message being proclaimed.

Civility, hospitality and respect for human life (and even for the lives of the God's creatures in nature) were once major hallmarks of the Black community.
Generosity and a voracious appetite for education were trademark characteristics that then could be as closely associated with most Black people as the "golden arches" now are with McDonald's restaurants.
Empowered by the spirituality and vision of people of faith, the movement for Human Rights that sprung from the African American community has spread around the globe.
Walls of madness, greed and bigotry that divide members of the human family from other children of God are being torn down.
The impact has spread from Birmingham and Montgomery to Bloemfontein and Johannesburg, Berlin, Moscow and Beijing.
In the tradition of the ancestors, strong values and decency have been clearly articulated by the modern Human Rights movement.
An outstanding example is the message proclaimed by Dr Martin Luther King, Jr at the first mass meeting (5 December 1955) during the bus boycott in Montgomery, Alabama.
"Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."

The Power of Words!
The impact of words (written, spoken and sung) is enormous.
With that reality comes responsibility for the consequences of what is uttered and that should be a very sobering thought.
You can't "un-ring" the bell!
Will history ultimately record that the human tongue is the deadliest weapon on the planet?
Those who consider themselves to be "children of Abraham" throughout the Judeo-Christian-Islamic community should seriously consider the following references.
(It would not hurt for everyone else to at least give it some contemplation.)

James Brown Speaks About Today's Songs
"Rap and hip-hop, as much as funk and soul, are all ultimately
reflective musical forms. They hold a mirror up to the times, and if that reflection is distorted, it's not the glass
that's the problem-it's the perception of the person looking.
As for me, I've always been a stylistic preacher, someone who wants to extend a hand to all races, all colors, both in
America and around the world. I'm always ready to lend a hand, give advice, and offer encouragement. After all, I am the
Godfather of Soul!
As long as rap is so pervasive right now, maybe it's worth another look. I'll let you in on a little secret. I believe a
lot of people in the industry will know what I'm talking about ----- that a lot of the more tasteless aspects of rap is
really part of a . . . conspiracy to destroy the integrity of Black music in America. Let me explain what I mean.
I firmly believe that Black music should never be 'dirty.' And if you think about it, how could it be, unless someone . . .
was allowing it? . . . I believe a lot of the most anarchic, 'dirty' songs that have made rap something it wasn't intended
to be by Blacks were either something they were pressured by labels into recording, or actually products originated . . .
to discredit all the artists who rap, and the audiences who buy it . . . so that White people could shake their heads and
say, 'See? That's what Black people are really all about. That's how they talk about their girlfriends and worse, their
mamas. Instead of building their women up, they portray them as whores and sluts! And that's what they allow their children
to listen to.'
Rappers out there, I'm especially talking to you! Listen to your Godfather! I know some of you will think I'm
crazy for even suggesting it, but please, maybe we shouldn't all be so quick to dismiss the words of a man who speaks from
firsthand knowledge of the music business . . . Somebody's lying to you somewhere, and that someone isn't me . . . we need
to get back to the roots of our music, our industry, and our souls. And the only way to do that is to return to the purity of
our love for our music, and all the positive things that it represents for us."

THE POWER OF
POSITIVE YOUTH
Copyright © 1994
Intercity Sports Review

Reprinted with permission
Thanks to irresponsible and greedy elements of the information and
entertainment media, many people have an inaccurate and distorted picture of
many of today's young people. Outstanding academic, artistic, humanitarian and
athletic achievements and contributions by our youths are often ignored or buried
deep in print and electronic news reports somewhere between the obituaries,
department store sales and classified ads. Meanwhile aberrant (and often
abhorrent) sensational acts by a few confused and misguided products of a
society that has been unable and/or unwilling to properly educate them grab the
banner headlines.
Public policies in many localities, disconcerted by this mentality, annually flush
billions of dollars into feeble attempts to treat the effects (rather than deal with
the causes) of our predictable and preventable tragic social failures. Meanwhile,
in many families, religious, educational and social institutions and communities,
the positive people quietly stayed focused on building and preparing for a better
future. This publication is a record that resulted from the efforts of a few of them.
It is the tip of an iceberg from a glacier of concerned people who are building for
a better tomorrow.
The power, potential and influence of positive young people should never be
underestimated. (Just think back to the Human Rights movement in the United
States during the 1960's.) The achievements outlined on this Web site, and many
of those with which it is linked, are a testimony of that fact.
The ball is now in YOUR court.

It's Time For
MORE GOD
and
LESS "RELIGION" !
Some of the worst atrocities in human history have been committed
under the guise of "religion"
and
under the color of "law".
In the Eulogy for Coretta Scott King,
Elder Bernice King states:
"FIRST SERMON THAT JESUS PREACHED HE WASN'T INVITING PEOPLE TO CHURCH.
EVEN THOUGH WE DO THAT WELL, WE ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO COME TO OUR VARIOUS CHURCHES TO VISIT.
THAT WASN'T IT.
GOD WASN'T INTERESTED IN GETTING US INTO CHURCH.
BECAUSE CHURCH HAD CRIPPLED US.
AND CREATED TRADITIONS OF MEN, THAT ENTRAPPED US, AND KEPT US FROM
EXHIBITING A TRUE SPIRIT OF GOD, WHICH IS UNCODITIONAL LOVE, WHICH
CORETTA SCOTT KING EXHIBITED TIME AND TIME AGAIN.
AND MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
AS CHRIST SAID, REPENT!
FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND.
HE WAS SAYING YOU GOTTA CHANGE YOUR MIND NOW, BECAUSE ALL OF THE
SYSTEMS THAT YOU HAVE CREATED, ALL OF THE TRADITIONS THAT YOU HAVE COME
THRU, THEY ARE FAILING AND THEY ARE FADING AND THEY ARE DOING IT VERY
FAST AND VERY QUICK AND THATS WHY YOU SEE RIGHT NOW THERE IS A
DIMINISHING OF SOMETHINGS THAT YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED LATELY.
AND GOD IS ELEVATING HIS SPIRIT IN THE EARTH.
SO HE SAID, THE WAY YOU BEEN TRYING TO WORK IT OUT, IT AINT WORKIN NO MORE.
IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GET FREE.
IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO TAKE OFF THE SHACKLES BECAUSE WE HAVE MOVED INTO ANOTHER DIMENSION NOW."
